Local rules

Driving range

  • On the driving range, it is not allowed to stand on the mats with shoes with steel spikes.
  • Retrieving hit balls and hitting golf balls outside the designated tee mat is not allowed.
  • Driving range balls are for use on the driving range only and owned by Seve.
  • Performing an initial hit with a driver is not allowed on the second floor.
  • Children below the age of 12 may only perform the initial hit on the second floor when accompanied by an adult.
  • It is forbidden to deliberately hit the balls over the nets. In the unlikely event that this does happen and your ball goes toward the court, we request you to shout “FORE”.

Rules of conduct

  • Play according to official golf rules and etiquette.
  • Repair pitchmarks, put back plows and rake bunkers.
  • Pay attention to the pace of play in the course (an average of 6 minutes per hole).
  • Players on a hole with a higher number have priority over players on a hole with a lower number.
  • Allow faster players to pass.
  • Track personnel always have priority (wait for signal).
  • Players are personally liable for damages caused.
  • Practice balls are for use on the Driving Range only.

Obstacle

  • The obstacle to the left of hole 3/12 extends indefinitely in a northeasterly direction.
  • If a ball is in the obstacle on hole 9/18, the player may:
    1. Act in accordance with Rule 17-1 or
    2. As an additional option, with a penalty stroke, place a ball in the drop zone formed by a plastic tee mat.

Off the course

  • Off-course is indicated by white poles or white lines.
  • On holes 8/17 and 9/18, the off-course boundary is indicated by a fence.
  • A ball is out of the course on holes 8/17 and 9/18 when it comes to a halt on the other side of the fence.

Other

  • Plastic turning mats
    A plastic tee mat is an integral part of the course when in use as a tee mat.
  • Distance Meter
    A player may determine distances with a device that can only measure distances. Smartphones are not allowed as rangefinders.
    Penalty for using a rangefinder that is not permitted: Disqualification under Rule14-3.

Punishment for violation

If a rule of conduct is violated, Golfcenter Seve may impose a penalty on the violator.

  • Matchplay – losing the hole
  • Stroke play – two penalty strokes
